<\/p>\nBack in July we posted about Pali Grimsby\u2019s own; Julie Glover, who was due to take on the Alzheimer\u2019s Memory Walk this year alongside an\u00a0estimated 110,000 people to unite against dementia. \u00a0The walk which is organised by the Alzheimer\u2019s Society was organised with the aim to raise over \u00a39 million pounds to help anyone affected by dementia.<\/p>\n

“Hi,<\/p>\n
I am taking part in the charity walk in aid of Alzheimer\u2019s Society, as advertised on the TV; around 225,000 people develop dementia every year \u2013 that\u2019s equivalent to one person every 3 minutes!!!\u00a0 Being part of a family that has been affected by this silent disease and that this is something that could affect each and every one of us at some point in the future, I felt I had to do something, however small, to help fight this.<\/p>\n
This September and October Memory Walks will be taking place across England, Wales and Northern Ireland to raise money for a world without dementia.\u00a0 Arm in arm, step by step and pound by pound, we will get there.\u00a0 Once you donate, Just Giving will send your money directly to the Alzheimer\u2019s Society.\u00a0 So it\u2019s the most efficient way to raise money, saving time and cutting cost for the charity.\u00a0 Please dig deep and help us walk for a world without dementia.”<\/p>\n
