{"id":2708,"date":"2019-01-21T16:08:10","date_gmt":"2019-01-21T16:08:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.paliltd.com\/news\/?p=2708"},"modified":"2019-01-21T16:08:10","modified_gmt":"2019-01-21T16:08:10","slug":"christmas-fundraising-event-supported-by-pali-is-a-success","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.paliltd.com\/news\/christmas-fundraising-event-supported-by-pali-is-a-success\/","title":{"rendered":"Christmas Fundraising Event Supported By Pali Another Success!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Back in November we issued a blog revealing details of the Christmas fundraising event Steph Lyke from SAS Daniels Solicitors and a group of friends organise annually, which Pali proudly supports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event took place on the 28th of December 2018 at Connah\u2019s Quay Navy Club in Deeside and once again was a complete success! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.paliltd.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Wales-Air-Ambulance-1024x528.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2731\" width=\"313\" height=\"161\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The fundraiser is always in aid of local charities and this year the chosen charities were <a href=\"https:\/\/www.walesairambulance.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">Wales Air Ambulance <\/a>and Deeside Hospital Palliative Care Centre. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The two hundred and fifty attendees that helped raise funds were entertained by the band \u2018Whole of the Moon\u2019 and were also treated to a large raffle and auction with all the proceeds going to the charities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The prizes on offer on the night included iPads, Gym Memberships, Disney Samsonite suitcases and an alcohol hamper provided by Pali. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.paliltd.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Steph-Lykes-fundraiser-raffle.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2719\" width=\"456\" height=\"341\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Following the great success of the event, we are please to announce that the final count of the money raised was a whopping \u00a35190! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The charity nights have come a long way from when they held their first party eighteen years ago when the grand sum of \u00a3900 was raised for Hope House Hospice. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We would like to congratulate Steph and her fellow\norganisers once again for their continued incredible fundraising.
