PALI HQ’s Nicole Cran completes the London Marathon in aid of Happy Faces Children’s Charity

A huge congratulations to Drainage & Water Search Technician, Nicole Cran, who completed the London Marathon on Sunday 3rd October in aid of children’s charity, Happy Faces.

Happy Faces was set up in 2003 to raise funds in the area of North Wales to support sick, disabled and disadvantaged children.

Nicole was originally supposed to be taking part in the marathon in October 2020 however it was postponed due to pandemic. She had been training last year with her Martial Arts team and running at 4am most mornings until she dislocated her knee cap. This halted all training as Nicole couldn’t risk making her injury worse. This makes the whole experience even more of an achievement with no training in the lead up to the event – what a trooper.

Nicole completed the monumental challenge in 8 hours and 33 minutes which she is very happy with as she anticipated it would take her longer than that.

Well done Nicole, the PALI Team are all proud of you and we’re sure Happy Faces are ecstatic with your support.
