The development is a joint project between Salboy and Nobu Hospitality, with design by SimpsonHaugh Architects – the team behind several of Manchester’s most prominent towers. Viadux 2 will sit at the heart of the city, offering a mix of residential and hospitality uses.

With construction set to begin in late 2025, Viadux 2 marks another major step in Manchester’s transformation into a true European high-rise hub.

Luxury Meets Legacy

Viadux 2 will bring 452 high-end, branded residences with sweeping skyline views and high-spec interiors. It will also be home to a five-star Nobu hotel with 160 bedrooms, making its debut in Manchester. Residents and guests can expect a full suite of premium amenities – spa, gym, concierge, rooftop bar, and of course Nobu’s signature restaurant.

It will be positioned next to the Grade II-listed Castlefield Viaduct, bringing together modern architecture and industrial heritage. The design aims to respect its surroundings while clearly signalling the city’s forward momentum.
